Will installing chassis reinforcements, skid plates and shock absorbers void the original vehicle warranty?

Adding non-destructive external parts like reinforcement plates and skid plates generally will not affect the overall factory warranty. If you modify the suspension, frame, fuel lines or circuits, the related components will no longer be covered by warranty. It is recommended to choose vehicle-specific plug-and-play accessories.
Can a modified off-road vehicle pass the annual inspection legally?

Major exterior changes, body lifts, oversized wheels and tires, and exposed off-road bumpers will usually fail the inspection. Hidden chassis reinforcements, inner skid plates and interior accessories that do not change the vehicle’s appearance or dimensions are inspection-friendly.
What lift height is street-legal? What height is recommended for off-roading?

Major body lifts are not permitted by domestic traffic regulations. A small lift of 1–1.5 inches is relatively safe for road use. A 2–4 inch lift is widely used for professional off-roading and cross-country driving, but is not advised for regular road travel.
What are the benefits of installing chassis reinforcements and skid plates?

They protect the oil pan, transfer case and frame from damage by rocks and rough terrain. These parts also improve overall chassis rigidity and reduce body torsion during extreme off-roading, extending the service life of undercarriage components.
Will larger all-terrain tires affect fuel consumption and speedometer accuracy?

Can chassis reinforcement parts be used universally on different models?
